Vantaa Agricultural Museum

The museum is a bilingual local museum with objects from the old Helsingin maalaiskunta, a region that included modern-day Vantaa as well as parts of Helsinki and Tuusula.

The museum is newly built and consists of two buildings: Emil and Maiju. Emil was inaugurated and taken in use in 2006. Apart from the exhibition space on the first floor, the building contains meeting facilities on the second floor that are for hire in the summer season. There is room for up to 50 persons in the facilities and a kitchen with refrigerator and freezer is available. The second building, Maiju, contains festive- and meeting facilities for up to 100 persons and can be used year-round.
