Tyrväntö Church

Tyrväntö church was completed in 1801. It is a wooden, cruciform church and its interior is influenced by Jugendstil. The bells are from 1704 and 1709. Tyrväntö’s first church was in the College of Gardening area in Lepaa. Its medieval stone vestry and cemetery still remain. Fittings were removed from this medieval church to Tyrväntö church, including the bells, pulpit and wooden carvings.
