Moomin Museum

The Moomin Museum in Tampere-talo features original artwork by Tove Jansson as well as fascinating three-dimensional tableaux made by Tove Jansson and Tuulikki Pietilä, and it portrays the magical world of the Moomins in a beautiful and detailed way.

In addition to the museum, there is a Reading Room that entices visitors to stay and enjoy the captivating stories. The adjacent Sorsapuisto Park features sculptures by Tove Jansson’s father, Viktor Jansson. Tampere-talo Shop provides the finest of Moomin souvenirs, the Moomin Museum’s own unique products, Finnish design as well as handmade crafts by Finnish artisans.
