Finnish Wooden Boat Centre

The Finnish Wooden Boat Centre was developed to promote the country’s wooden boat heritage, and specialises in the building, repairing, and restoration of these boats. Housed in an ultra-modern building designed by the architects Lahdelma & Mahlämaki, who also designed the Vellamo Maritime Centre, the Centre is a place of work, and also a meeting place, with a café and popular summer terrace, and an educational centre with galleries.
