Ahola

Situated on the shores of lake Tuusula, Ahola (formerly Vårbacka, was the family villa of renowned author Juhani Aho and his wife, the painter Venny Soldan-Brofeldt. Originally built as a single storey house, the second storey was added in the 1920s, and the villa was renovated in the 1990s. The couple moved into the villa in 1897 and lived there until 1911.
