Aurora Village is an exclusive high quality Northern Lights resort, located in the forests of Inari in the arctic areas of wild Finnish Lapland. The resort has 28 Aurora Glass Cabins, a unique cozy Lappish restaurant and a range of wonderful winter activities. Aurora Village offers Northern Lights accommodation during autumn and winter, and Midnight Sun accommodation during summer time. Arctic animals like reindeer, husky dogs and Finnish horses are part of daily life at family owned Aurora Village.
Accommodation
Aurora Village has 28 Aurora Glass Cabins, or glass igloos, with 28 square metre floor space with a bathroom and a private shower. Enjoy the wonderful panoramic view to the Northern sky from your bed through the glass ceiling. Each cabin can accommodate up to four people, however, it is most comfortable for two.
Restaurant services
Restaurant Loimu offers delicious Lappish and international cuisine in a truly unique atmosphere. All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner are available as well as á la carte and bar menu offering.
After walking the numerous paths around Aurora Village treat yourself to a cup of coffee by a campfire under a traditional laavu lean-to shelter.
Traditional kota tents around the property are available for an authentic barbeque experience or just to chill out the Lappish style.
Aurora Village Panorama Sauna and Outdoor Jacuzzi
After a wonderful day of winter activities, there isn’t anything better than the warmth of a Finnish sauna with a view! Enjoy the scenery in the comfort of the panorama sauna or the outdoor jacuzzi.
Aurora Village Panorama Sauna is a unique glass-roof sauna with a view towards the river valley. There’s an outdoor jacuzzi next to the sauna where you can admire the Northern Lights, if you’re lucky. There is also a winter swimming hole in the ice at the lake for dipping into the freezing water, if you dare.

There’s a great variety of hiking, skiing and biking paths departing from Aurora Village. There are traditional lean-to and kota-teepee shelters or campfire sites around the property. The surrounding nature is full of berries.
A vast selection of guided tours are also available, such as reindeer sleigh rides, horse sledge rides, ice-karting, snowshoes, snowmobile tours and boat tours.
