Inari Onnela Wilderness Services
Inari Onnela Wilderness Services is a one-man tourism company that serves its guests year-round on the shores of Lake Inari, in the Vätsäri wilderness area on Onnela’s old farm. Onnela is an old Sámi farm founded at the turn of the 20th century, whose current milieu today includes completely new buildings as well as original log buildings.
Onnela’s host lives on the farm himself and offers unique experiences for his guests in the middle of the wilderness, and takes care of his guests’ safety and comfort at all times. There is no road to Onnela, it is behind a roadless fell, you’ll be transported there by boat in the open water season or by snowmobile in the winter.
In Onnela, you can spend your vacation in complete peace and tranquillity, and experience the untouched wilderness and its complete silence with us. You can plan an active adventure vacation or spend a relaxed and peaceful vacation without any advance plans. We individually tailor each trip according to your wishes.
Onnela offers accommodation, boat transport, food and parties. Onnela also arranges a variety of excursions: boat trips, fishing, hiking, snowmobile, northern lights, skiing, snowshoeing and various guided tours.
