Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park
Puurijärvi and Isosuo National Park is located in southwestern Finland, in the regions of Satakunta and Pirkanmaa, near the towns of Kokemäki and Huittinen. The park lies along the Kokemäenjoki River, one of the longest rivers in Finland.
A unique natural landscape unfolds in the middle of a historical and cultural setting. The area consists of extensive mire formations and the shallow, lush Lake Puurijärvi, which is an internationally important bird habitat. The mires within the national park are also home to a diverse range of bird species.
