Pyhän Asteli Aurora Igloo Huts

These new and modern huts are perfect for a couple who wish to enjoy some time together. The bed is located under the glass ceiling, where you can watch the night sky and if you are lucky, you can be amazed of the dance of the Northern Lights.

Aurora Igloo Huts are specially made for watching the Northern Lights and the beautiful night sky. Through the glass it is possible to observe these magical lights comfortably in the warmth of the Hut. To see the Northern Lights you’ll only need a clear cloudless sky, geo-magnetic activity in the atmosphere as well as a touch of pure luck. Spending the night in the Hut is it an experience itself.

The Aurora Igloo Huts are hotel quality rooms with one double bed made with soft linen, own toilet and shower, water heater, microwave, small fridge, some space for luggage and a private entrance. Some of our Aurora Igloo Huts can accommodate 3 persons (third person in sofa bed). During common Sauna hours, it is possible to use Asteli’s log sauna and avanto (the hole in the ice for an arctic swim). You can book a private sauna as well.
