Rauhankatu 1 (The Pearl of Kruununhaka)
The Winner of public vote for the most beautiful jugend -style building in Helsinki organized by Helsingin Sanomat in 2007. The building presents the early phases of Jugend -style but has still some remains of the eclectism from the end of 19th century. Every floor is styled different. Completed in 1900, architects were Onni Törnqvist (Tarjanne) and Lars Sonck.
