Skydive Häme
Skydive Häme(Hämeen Laskuvarjourheilijat ry) was founded in 1971, and is currently one of the largest skydiving clubs in Finland. The club has approximately 250 members, about thirty of which are active skydivers. The club makes about 3500 jumps a year out of our own Cessna-206, and we train approximately 100 new jumpers per year. We operate from Räyskälä Airfield in Loppi, where we have our clubhouse and dropzone.
We skydive all through the year(yes, even during the winter), but of course we’re mostly active during the summer months, from April through October. Being a non-commercial club, the action is heavily concentrated on the weekends.
Räyskälä Airfield is situated halfway between Forssa and Riihimäki, about 100km from Helsinki.
