Torronsuo National Park

Torronsuo National Park is located in southern Finland, in the municipality of Tammela, about 100 km northwest of Helsinki.

On Torronsuo Mire, you will experience the Finnish landscape at its most original; the large open mire landscape has looked the same for thousands of years. Especially in the spring and the autumn, Torronsuo is a good place to observe the migrating birds, many of which stop to rest on the mire, for example cranes and geese.

Torronsuo Mire is one of the largest and most impressive mires in southern Finland. Especially the wilderness-like scenery of the eastern part of the park is great. Despite its location surrounded by old agricultural areas and big towns, the mire is still almost in its natural state.
