Most of the dining choices in the area are located within the hotels, fell centres, holiday villages, and hiking centres, although there are some restaurants in the villages of the municipality. Lappish cuisine takes centre stage, so be sure to try some of the local specialities such as sauteed reindeer, moose osso-bucco, or the many fish dishes sourced from the lakes and rivers.
